VOODOO GLAZE

2 cups sugar – granulated

1 ½ cups Texas Pete hot sauce

½ cup vinegar – apple cider

½ cup tomato paste

½ cup Gulden’s mustard

1 tablespoon garlic – fresh, chopped

1 tablespoon black pepper

½ tablespoon celery salt

4 each bay leaves

½ tablespoon salt – kosher

1 tablespoon mustard seed

In a pot, combine all ingredients. Simmer at 160 degrees till sugar is dissolved.

Glaze should be the consistency of thick syrup. Makes 1 quart.
