Join us for our first Gluten Free Cooking Class at Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen in Cary on Saturday, February 4, 2012, 11AM-1PM. Learn to make delicious recipes that you'd never know are gluten free. We’ll also talk about good ways to convert existing recipes to gluten-free alternatives.
Chef Jay Pierce will demonstrate five recipes (sweet potato hushpuppies, ham cream sauce, creamy grits, tasso gravy, shrimp & grits, and Scuppernong wine jelly), provide souvenir recipe cards and give away door prizes (such as one night stay at Proximity Hotel, Lucky 32 gift vouchers, Recipe boxes, etc). New for 2012, your choice of a cocktail or a mocktail to get you started! Here's the three-course lunch menu:
Islamorada or Old Fashioned Nectar Soda
Sweet Potato Hushpuppies
With Country Ham Cream Sauce
Shrimp & Grits
Martin Codax Albarino, Rias Baixas, Spain ’09
Mawmaw Millie’s Scuppernong Wine Jelly Cocktail
He’ll also talk about where and how to find ingredients, answer questions, and hope to put these things into the proper context.
Our restaurant is located near Raleigh, Holly Springs and Apex.
Cost is $39 per person (includes tax and gratuity). For reservations, please call Lara Yerges at Lucky 32 in Cary at 919-233-1632 or email lyerges@qwrh.com.
