Lucky 32 Greensboro Events: Beer Dinners, Whiskey Schools, Bourbon Tastings & more

Our beer, whiskey & bourbon schools are a regularly occurring series where we invite local breweries and distilleries to teach about what makes their beer, whiskey or bourbon's unique and Chef Jay Pierce explains how to pair and why they pair so well with the food served.

Chef Jay Pierce cordially invites you to celebrate one of our favorite local breweries at Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen in Greensboro featuring Lonerider Brewing Company. Lonerider Brewing Company
The brewery opened their doors on January 23rd, 2009 with a beer and a dream in Raleigh, North Carolina. With an eye for quality, they’ve crafted each of their beers with the highest quality ingredients. Two of their brews, Sweet Josie and Deadeye Jack, have taken home some of the highest honors from the Great American Beer Festival.

Beer School and Book Signing with Mystery Brewing of Hillsboro at Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen in Cary, NCBeer School with Mystery Brewing
July 25 • 6:30 PM

We’ll host a Beer School with Erik Lars Myers, author of North Carolina Craft Beer & Breweries. The Beer School features brews from Mystery Brewing of Hillsborough, North Carolina. Beers will be paired with six courses of family-style dishes plus informative commentary by Chef Jay Pierce and and Erik Lars Myers, Head Brewer of Mystery Brewing.

About Mystery Brewing
Founder and Head Brewer of Mystery Brewing, Erik Lars Myers has pretty much run the gamut of right and left-brained career choices – with a degree in theater and performance art and a long work background programming – it seems somehow fitting that he ended up right in the middle, with a beer in hand.

He has been self-taught in every aspect of his work career. After a decade of homebrewing, he started looking into the craft beer industry a little more seriously through his blog, Top Fermented, got involved helping out with Know Your Brewer and the North Carolina Brewers Guild, and finally decided to venture out on his own in business doing what he loves most. He loves brewing because he feels a kinship to its heady blend of art and science. He loves the creative aspect of inventing a truly outstanding beer and enjoys the precision that is required to craft it.

Cost is $40 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Advance reservations are required. There is limited seating, so please reserve today by calling 336-370-0707.

Watch for upcoming "schools," beer dinners and special events with Chef Jay Pierce at our Greensboro restaurant. We have a few things in the works you'll not want to miss.
