Niman Ranch

Niman Ranch natural meats are served in the finest restaurants in the country. Lucky 32 is one of the few restaurants in North Carolina to feature Niman Ranch pork and beef and added it to the menu in June 2005.

Niman Ranch started business nearly thirty years ago in Marin County, just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. They still raise cattle on the original ranch, but have expanded to sell pork and lamb, too. They work with over 300 independent family farmers who raise livestock for them, according to their strict protocols.

Great Taste
Great taste is the goal at Niman Ranch, achieved through strict animal husbandry guidelines that include treating animals humanely, feeding them all-natural feeds, and allowing them to mature naturally. This commitment has established their reputation for the best-tasting meats available.

They offer beef, pork and lamb to restaurants, retailers and directly to consumers through their on-line market.

Traceability
By working with a network of independent family farmers (including many in North Carolina), they control the meat all the way from the farm until it reaches our customers. Most meat in the United States goes through many distribution layers before it reaches the consumer. Niman knows where and how each piece of meat is produced and provide direct feedback to farmers and ranchers about quality.

At Niman Ranch, a skilled team of butchers portions meat daily to customers' specifications. They conduct tastings of product regularly to ensure that it meets our rigorous taste standards.

Today, their ranchers, butchers, office staff, and drivers are fulfilling the vision upon which the company was founded to bring the best possible meat to customers while practicing the highest standards of husbandry and environmental stewardship.
