- Traditional Skillet-Fried Chicken, 4pm until we run out! A breast, leg and a wing, pan-fried in Cane Creek’s locally-rendered pork fat, served with mashed potatoes, giblet gravy, collard greens and a hunk of dipping cornbread. $17 (Also see the current dinner menu)
- Live compositions and renditions by Laurelyn Dossett and Friends, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Laurelyn is in residence each Tuesday with new songs, standards and surprise guests. No cover charge.

About Laurelyn Dossett
Singer/Songwriter Laurelyn Dossett lives and writes in the Piedmont of North Carolina, and her songs tend to reflect the stories of the region, both traditional and contemporary. She co-founded Polecat Creek with singing partner Kari Sickenberger and has partnered with Triad Stage's Preston Lane on four plays featuring regional folklore and original music: Brother Wolf, BeautifulStar:An Appalachian Nativity, Bloody Blackbeard and Providence Gap. A song from Brother Wolf, "Anna Lee," was featured on Levon Helm's Grammy-winning record, Dirt Farmer. Laurelyn’s performances range from Merlefest to Prairie Home Companion to the North Carolina Symphony. She is the 2009-10 recipient of the N.C. Arts Council Fellowship for songwriting.
